Derecor Homes offers you many choices when building a custom home. A quick summary check list is shown in this table. An Energy Star certified Derecor Home achieves its certification by meeting inspections and tests by a third party rating company. The tests ensure the home is at least 15% above the standard Texas energy code rating in energy efficiency.
A Derecor Home built with the premium options, including SIPs (Structural Insulated Panels) for framing, will exceed even an Energy Star house in efficiency and structural strength. A house built with premium options should save a homeowner 40-60% on their energy bill.
Of course, the two packages are not exclusive. Options can be chosen from both columns to ensure you have the custom home you've dreamed of.
